Kudlu falls is located about 54 kms from Udupi in the dense forest of Western Ghats. The water falls cascades from a 150 foot cliff, creating a pool at its base. There is a 3 kms trail to the falls.
We started from Udupi at 6 am. Since our bus could not make it to the forest check post we had to trek about 5 kms extra in dense forest of western ghats which was exiting.
Once we reached the forest checkpost there was a moderate trekking for 2kms to the falls.
This waterfalls lies in Someshwar wild life range which is a UNESCO world heritage site.
After a refreshing bath we had lunch at a house near the falls. Thanks to YHAI organizers.
